About us
OptecNet Deutschland is the association of eight regional networks in the field of optical technologies and quantum technologies at national level. We work together on international collaborations, public relations, technology transfer, trade fair appearances, innovation support and promotion of young talent.
Our overall goal is to connect business, science and politics.
Around 600 companies and research institutions are members of the regional networks. Their competencies cover the entire range of “optical technologies made in Germany”.

What we do
International Collaborations
Supporting the regional innovation networks and their members in establishing international contacts and business relationships, e.g. through joint booths at international trade fairs, partnering events and delegation trips.
Job Board
We offer the only industry-specific job portal for the photonics industry in Germany. Our members publish their job offers free of charge on our website. You can also find job boards and information about career opportunities at national trade fairs.
