Hella Fast Forward Tech Scouting Online Session: Near Field Projection

The Digital Innovation Team at HELLA in cooperation with OpTecBB, is looking for optical projectors or technological solutions for optical projectors for automotive applications such as (1) Light carpets; (2) Projectors integrated in the side mirrors, (3) Near-field projection in front of the car. These projectors are supposed to serve purposes such as (a) Safety functions (e.g., marking of dangerous zones around the car); (b) Animated images for visual communication with pedestrians; (c) Welcome light (to “greet the driver” when unlocking the vehicle); and (d) Design light.

In our online session we will discuss some of the challenges and technological solutions in this field.
