Expand your scope: Photonic integrated circuits from 400nm – 2350nm

Photonic Integrated Circuits have gained a lot of momentum in the telecommunication area. However they are used in and suitable for a broad range of other applications. LioniX International will show the broad scope of applications of our TriPleX based photonic modules. This silicon-nitride based photonic platform supports wavelengths from 400nm to 2350 and applications ranging from pace, 5G networks, AR/VR, Lifescience, metrology and bio-sensing. LioniX International vertical integrated approach, that includes the design, manufacturing as well as hybrid assembly, ensures we support our customers prototype idea, as well as their volumes production requirements.

Douwe Geuzebroek Ph.D. [M] (VP Marketing & Sales ) studied Electrical Engineering at University of Twente and graduated MSc in 2001 at the Telematics Systems and Services Group, with a major in telecommunication networks and a minor in Technical Business Administration. After that he started his Ph.D. research at the Integrated Optical MicroSystems group, which he finished in 2005 on the topic of “Flexible Optical Network Components based on Densely Integrated Micro-ring Resonators”. In 2005 he joined LioniX B.V. as a design engineer and project leader focusing on micro-ring resonators and other integrated optical telecommunication devices, and was actively involved in the start-up of XiO Photonics in 2008. He acted as VP of Marketing and Sales, and was involved in the acquisition of new commercial and research projects. He has been involved in several research projects both national and European.
