What you will do

Photonics is one of the most exciting and dynamic areas of applied research. Building on many years of experience, the HHI has achieved a leading global position in optical data transmission and develops innovative solutions for communication in global data networks. This expertise also enables novel photonic solutions in sensor technology, analytics, medical technology and quantum cryptography. The dynamics of these technology fields open up the scope for exciting scientific projects with clear application perspectives. Ihr Profil:

What you bring to the table

  • Full-time students of electrical engineering, physics or communications engineering with good to very good grades,
  • Motivation, initiative and interest in new things,
  • Ideally, initial knowledge of high-frequency engineering, optics or semiconductor physics.  

The prerequisite is full-time study at a German university or college.

The position is initially limited to 6 months.
