Toxicological risk assessments according to ISO 10993-17
Planning and executing preclinical studies (physicochemical, in vitro and in vivo)
Analyzing test report data and compiling it into comprehensive reports
Creation of reports in regulatory conforming language
Interactions with laboratories and regulatory authorities
Working closely with other departments and stakeholders
Degree in chemistry, biology, or science, preferably holding a PhD degree
More than 3 years experience in biocompatibility or preclinical testing
Knowledgeable in ISO 10993 standards, Medical Device Regulation ((MDR) 2017/745) and medical devices
Knowledge in analytical methods: physicochemical testing (e.g. chromatography, mass spectrometry, extraction studies) and biological testing (in vitro & in vivo tests) and software such as Toxtree, QSAR Toolbox etc.
Ideally, experience in international regulatory submissions
Experience in writing scientific literature with corresponding literature research
Fluent in German and English and MS Office skills
Good communication skills with team and other departments is advantageous
Capable of working independently and in an organized and structured way
