Process Engineer (m/f/d) for Hidden Champion in Laser Diode and Module Production
ABOUT LUMICS:
We are a rapidly growing hidden champion in the production of laser diodes and modules and are looking for a process engineer (m/f/d) to fill a key position in the future-oriented alignment of our company. As a member of an expert team, you will work agilely and hand in hand with development & production - and that on an equal footing with our department heads - from semiconductor production to module assembly. You will design and implement innovative processes in the field of equipment and measurement technology/ tools, analyze measurement data, and derive corresponding project recommendations.

STRONGER TOGETHER | YOUR ROLE WITH US:
- You desing and construct high-end production tools for semiconductor laser manufactoring
- You specify and procure measurement equipment for testing diode laser packages and laser chips
- You are a memeber of the process enigeneering team and work in close cooperation with the producttion and product development departments
- You development software for controlling the equipment and storing and visualizing of large data sets
- You are responsibly for the development of calibration procedures for the measurement equipment
- You will analyse big data sets for the optimization of production processes
Your profile:
INNOVATIVE | THIS IS HOW YOU GET INTO THE ACTION:
- You have completed a degree in physics, microtechnology, electrical engineering, or a similar field of study
- Your have experience in the development of measurement procedures for optoelectronic components, especially laser diodes
- Your have thorough knowledge of optics, electronics, electrical engineering, measurement technology, and equipment construction
- You have experience in software development with LabView, SQL, and Python
- You have experience in the analysis of measurement data and the preparation of reports for process optimization
- Good German skills are required
